Privacy policy

In accordance with the French Data Protection Act no. 78-17 of January 6, 1978, as amended, Previeew hereby informs the User that it respects the confidentiality, integrity and security of any data that the User may communicate to Previeew via the Site or Services.

Any personal data directly or indirectly identifying the User, in particular: surname, first name, postal, electronic or telephone details, or indirectly, is considered as confidential data according to the applicable legislation and treated as such.

It is understood, however, that if the User chooses his or her first and last names as a pseudonym, he or she may not oppose the confidential nature of this data to Previeew.
The opening of a User Account is subject to the processing of personal data for which Previeew is responsible, which the User accepts.

This processing of the User’s personal data is declared to the Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL).

Previeew will update the CNIL declaration as necessary.
The data collected comes from the provision of their information by persons wishing to access or use the Services and to become a User.

Previeew retains the User’s personal data for the length of time necessary to achieve the purposes described in this article and for the purposes of retaining the elements necessary in the event of its contractual and/or tortious liability being invoked. Beyond this period, only anonymized statistical data will be kept and will not be used for any purpose whatsoever.

Subject to providing proof of identity, the User has the right to access, modify, rectify and delete data concerning him/her. In accordance with article 32 of the French Data Protection Act, and in view of the fact that this Newsletter collects personal data, the user must be informed of :

  • The identity of the data controller and, where applicable, its representative
  • The purpose for which the data is being processed
  • Whether replies are obligatory or optional
  • the possible consequences for him/her of failing to reply
  • the recipients or categories of recipients of the data
  • the individual’s rights under the provisions of section 2 of this chapter, including the right to define directives concerning the fate of his or her personal data after his or her death
  • Where applicable, any planned transfers of personal data to a country outside the European Community.
  • the retention period for the categories of data processed or, if this is not possible, the criteria used to determine this period.
  • For statistical purposes, Previeew may collect browsing information through the use of cookies. Acceptance of these cookies is mandatory for all subscriptions.
  • The User may, at any time, delete cookies, or delete cookies already stored on his/her computer, by configuring the privacy options of his/her Internet browser (for example: Tools > Clear my tracks > Cookies, on Mozilla Firefox and Tools > Delete browsing history > Delete cookies, on Microsoft Internet Explorer).

Previeew also reserves the right to collect certain information related to the Services (log and history of all data exchanges, “log” and connection history).

Previeew may use this information for any purpose, in particular to target advertising banners, improve the use of Services or monitor compliance with the terms of these General Terms and Conditions.
Previeew may also transmit the User’s data to commercial partners, subject to the User’s express authorization at the time of registration.
All information contained on the servers may be used by Previeew to carry out any type of control for purposes of prevention and sanction.

As a general rule, Previeew undertakes not to disclose the personal data of its Users, except with their express authorization or in very specific circumstances, such as those envisaged and specified in these General Conditions, and in particular:

  • Previeew may be required – by law, in the context of legal proceedings, litigation and/or a request from public authorities in the User’s country of residence or otherwise – to disclose the aforementioned personal data;
  • Previeew may also disclose such data if disclosure is necessary for purposes of national security, law enforcement or other matters of public interest;
  • Previeew may also disclose data concerning its Users if such disclosure is reasonably necessary to enforce compliance with these Terms and Conditions or to protect its business or its Users;
  • in the event of restructuring or sale, Previeew may transfer any personal data it retains to the relevant third party.
