We are music lovers, convinced that journalists, programmers and music critics play, and will continue to play, a major role in discovering and promoting talented artists.
Every day, 120,000 tracks are released on music platforms, along with fake streams and fake artists. This phenomenon makes the market unreadable and hinders the discoverability of talent.
Yet nothing can replace the ear of a well-informed critic to discover musical nuggets that have slipped under the radar of recommendation algorithms.
The media are going through a complicated period, in which their teams have been reduced to deal with an ever-increasing volume of releases.
Coming from the worlds of Music and Tech, we chose to combine our know-how to build Previeew, a platform that allows journalists to gain what is most precious for discovery: time, to listen, dig, discover.
And because their unbiased recommendations act as a compass for the general public and professionals alike, Previeew enhances their opinions through the “Stars of the Week”, top stories that you’ll soon be able to access.
Another essential link in the discoverability chain is the press attaché. We’re putting them back at the heart of the game, because they’re the first filter.
